    • i can list on one hand the songs i have heard once and liked immediately in my life. What was unique about Dig That Crazy Beat was that both myself and my best friend had the exact same reaction when hearing Dig That Crazy Beat playing in a shop in Los Angeles. We thus approached the shopkeeper and asked, "Who is that singing?" When we were told "Wendy Wall" (who's that?) we went to the music store and bought her cassette tape. A second unusual experience occured...unlike most albums where i might like one or two of the songs, the Wendy Wall cassette had all really enjoyable songs..remarkable lyrics of a poetic, sensitive, philosophical and observant woman; nice tunes with unusually appealing instrumentals and an inviting voice easy to sing along with. Over the years i have tried to find Wendy Wall and her songs online without much success. I am very happy to see she has 3 songs on youtube and a nice, user-friendly website as well as a facebook page, I am happy to see she has continued writing and performing. I would like to see Living in Love is Living in a State of Grace on youtube. It really surprises me that she is not more widely known, she and her band are a musical phenomenon.

    • Hi Wen, The story "The Mortgage Mess" had me riveted. I never knew you to be that kind of writer, but there it is. Awesome... Doreen

    • Yes John. Thanks for asking. I did do a cover of Time of the Season for the China Beach Soundtrack album, just after my first record was released. Rob Fraboni produced it, Baker Lee and the band played on it and my good friend and former bandmate, Ellie Sarty, sang background vocals. Fun session.

    • Has Wendy ever done a cover of "Time of the Season" by the Zombies?

    • Thanks so much Abe. I can't even tell you what it means to me to hear that. Bless you and thank you for listening the way you do. Wendy

    • Just wanted to let you know I have been a fan sense the 90s and have just found your website after searching for you for years. I love your music. As a disabled veteran it has brought me a lot of peace and a sense of quiet in my soul that few other artists have brought into my life. thank you. SSGT.a gravlin late of the US ARMY RANGERS

    • GREAT new site, the rhapsodic graphics encapsulate the YOU I have been listening to, dreaming to, living to for many a moon..........hoping to be in NY in October...am GONNA find you and sneak into a show unannounced somewhere...............

    • Cheers, Wendy

Just ordered 2 copies of your new CD, one for my friend Susan. Haven't heard a note, but neither had I when I first saw your cassette way back.. "Interesting, cool looking lady.. leaning on some tree". On a whim, "Think I'll buy it and give it a listen".

From first note, first word sung, I knew this was special, heartfelt music. Over so many years the songs have aged like fine wine, and the emotions ring true. Many I have played it for ask, "Why haven't I heard about her"?

Ten years later, "Two Birds". Rich in texture, subtle in meaning. After a few listens and you just think, "Wow".

Ten years later, I look forward to "The Road to Paradise". I guess we all do as we get older

Thank you for sharing you music and voice.

    • Wendy: I used to listen to you sing, many years ago, every week at APPLAUSE. I loved your voice and it has always haunted me-in a good way, I assure you. (My friend Jane worked with you back then.) It occured to me to "google" your name today. I am (once again) a devoted fan. Congrats on the new album! It is incredible.
